All over the world, Chartered Accountants are recognised as a mark of excellence across all aspects of business, playing an important role in supporting, developing and shaping the global economy.

Chartered Accountant Singapore logo

The infinity symbol embodies the unlimited aspirations of Chartered Accountants of Singapore. It is a mark that represents the world of boundless possibilities open to those who are conferred the CA (Singapore) designation, a prestigious qualification that comes with
global recognition and international portability.

The colour purple represents the designation’s hallmarks of
nobility, honour, privilege, strength and prestige.

In its final report, the Committee to Develop the Accountancy Sector (CDAS) noted that many leading jurisdictions such as Australia, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and the United States have their own professional accountancy qualifications that are recognised for their rigour and international portability. CDAS recommended that it was critical for Singapore to develop its very own high-quality and rigorous post-university Singapore Qualification Programme (Singapore QP).

Candidates who successfully complete the Singapore QP will be eligible to register themselves as Chartered Accountants of Singapore. Launched in June 2013, the Singapore QP is a gateway for aspiring Chartered Accountants to seek their own path to success. It is open to both accountancy and non-accountancy graduates.
